Let’s Talk About the Soho Beach House Refresh

Soho Beach House in Miami has always been a favorite with reliable vibes, great people-watching, and that members-club energy Soho House is known for. But after the recent refresh, it’s officially been taken to the next level.

What was already a strong offering now feels more elevated, comfortable, and very much worth lingering at all day.

What Is Soho House? And Soho Beach House?

Before we dive in, let’s cover the basics. Soho House is a private members club founded in London, originally designed for creatives and now expanded globally with Houses in major cities and resort destinations. Membership grants access to club spaces, dining rooms, pools, gyms, events, and select hotels.

Soho Beach House is the Miami beachfront outpost (part hotel, part members club) located in Mid-Beach. It’s known for its relaxed, coastal energy, private pool, beach lougners, and social scene that blends locals, creatives, and travelers. Here’s how Soho House describes it:

“Set within a 1940s tower overlooking Miami Beach, the interior design of the House is inspired by the city’s Art Deco and Cuban heritage, featuring a pool and ocean-facing rooftop

At the heart of Soho Beach House is the pool with a dedicated bar, and a regular program of events. There is also the Cowshed spa offering signature treatments and a gym with a terrace for outdoor training. Cecconi’s Northern Italian restaurant is open to members and the public, while Ocho on the rooftop serves cocktails, House Regulars and popsicles to enjoy in the sunshine”

Although there is now Miami Pool House open nearby, Soho Beach House is the heart of Soho House’s Miami presence.

The Big Picture

The refresh wasn’t about reinventing the House, it was about refining it. Everything feels more polished, more comfortable, and more thoughtfully designed for how members actually use the space. You can tell there was real intention behind the updates, not just cosmetic tweaks. And importantly: they were pushing hard to have everything ready by Art Basel and it delivered. The timing couldn’t have been better, and the upgrades held up under peak crowds and energy. Plus, you know they indexed on the aesthetics if Art Basel was their target.

The Real Standout

The biggest (and best) upgrade is around the pool. The daybeds have been significantly improved, and it shows. They’re more comfortable with more amenities, and feel genuinely luxurious rather than just functional. For example, it was previously difficult to add or remove the sun cover, but now you have flexibility to expand or retract this as you’d like! These are the kind of upgrades you notice immediately and appreciate hours later when you’re still lounging comfortably.

Overall Vibe

What’s impressive is that Soho House managed to upgrade the space without losing its soul. The energy is still relaxed, social, and unmistakably Soho, but with better flow, better comfort, and a more premium feel overall. Even during busy moments (hello, Art Basel), the space felt well thought out rather than overwhelmed. That’s not easy to pull off in Miami.

So, What’s the Price?

You know we’ll always give you the inside scoop. Membership starts from $875 quarterly, which gets discounted to $400 for Under 27 members. However, that is just local access. If you want global access to all Houses internationally, expect to pay more like $1250 quarterly. If you’re considering if it’s worth it, you can read our full thoughts here.

Final Verdict

Soho House Miami was already great. After the refresh, it’s next level. If you loved it before, you’ll love it even more now. And if you hadn’t been in a while, this is your sign to go back.
