Our Top 10 Experiences of 2025

2025 was a year we’ll remember for experiences that genuinely stayed with us. We traveled, ate exceptionally well, saw unforgettable performances, and leaned into moments that felt once-in-a-lifetime.

We went into the year with high standards and exceeded them. Here are the 10 best experiences of 2025, ranked.

1. A Full Day at Noma

We did a lot of fine dining this year. No, really. A lot. You can read our review of the 25 Michelin Stars we ate in 2025 here. Given so many incredible experiences and sky-high expectations, we really didn’t expect Noma to take the top spot. And yet… here we are. Spending an entire day immersed in Noma’s world (from breakfast to test kitchen previews to fermentation lab tastings to dinner) was unlike anything else we’ve ever experienced. It wasn’t just a meal. It was education, creativity, and hospitality at the absolute highest level. You can read our full review of Noma here.

2. Celebrities on Broadway

Seeing major Hollywood actors step into live theater was electric. Tom Felton returning as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (review here) felt deeply nostalgic and immersive, while Jake Gyllenhaal and Denzel Washington in Othello (review here) delivered powerhouse performances that reminded us why Broadway still matters. And the audience energy made these nights even more unforgettable.

3. Après Ski in Aspen

Aspen lives up to its reputation. Between the slopes, cozy lodges, and legendary après-ski scene, this trip struck the perfect balance of activity and indulgence. It’s one of those places that feels extravegent in the best possible way and we already can’t wait to go back. Read our full review here.

4. Port Tasting in Porto

Porto surprised us in the best way. We expected to love the wine, but we didn’t expect to enjoy the city so much. While tastings are everywhere, the Taylor’s Tawny Masterclass stood out as a truly elevated, private experience. Thoughtful, intimate, and educational, it turned port tasting into something memorable rather than touristy. If you’re going to do one tasting, make it this. Read our full Porto travel guide here.

5. The Don’t Die Summit in Miami

We went partly out of curiosity and partly to answer the very important question: does Bryan Johnson look normal in real life? (Answer: Almost.) Beyond that, the summit was a fascinating foray into longevity, health tech, and wellness innovation. We left inspired and unexpectedly impressed. Read our full review here.

6. Basketball Games with Big Names

There’s something special about seeing greatness live. Watching games like the Miami Heat vs the Golden State Warriors (with Steph Curry and ex-Heat player Jimmy Butler adding to the buzz) or seeing upcoming superstar Victor Wembanyama, Wemby for short, play in person reminded us how different sports feel when you’re there. Even if you’re not a die-hard fan, the energy is unmatched.

7. Global Citizen VIP Experience

Music, purpose, and people all came together in a way that felt genuinely impactful. The VIP experience elevated the entire event, from access to atmosphere, and made it feel like more than just a concert. This was one of those moments that stayed with us long after the lights went down. We discovered we were fans of Mariah the Scientist, saw an extremely pregnant Cardi B bring a shocking amount of energy, and confirmed that Shakira’s hips still don’t lie. Plus, it was so fun to see hosts and speakers like Hugh Jackman, Kristen Bell, Idris Elba and more. The only thing that we’ll say against this experience is that the VIP lounge only had vegan food, which was okay but we would have appreciated more variety.

8. Soho House Around the World

Soho House continues to be a home away from home, no matter the city. Miami remains our favorite overall (specifically Miami Beach House), but New York and London are always reliable, and Copenhagen was the standout new location for us this year. Each house added a layer of ease and familiarity that elevated our travel experiences. We also absolutely love their events. We’ve gone to everything from stand up comedy performances to blow out Halloween parties. This year’s highlight was a listening session for Ciara celebrating her new album and 20 years since her iconic Goodies album released. If you’ve been thinking about applying, you can read our assessment on if Soho House is worth it here.

9. Business Class Upgrades

Not investing in travel comfort is like not decorating your hallway… it may be a transitional space, but it’s still part of your home. Business class seats and lounge access completely changed how trips begin and end for us. Starting and finishing travel feeling rested and cared for makes a huge difference, and if you’re able to upgrade when it matters, we highly recommend it. If you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve card and fly out of Laguardia in New York, make sure to check out the lounge there! And if you’re flying American Airlines or British Airways, Miami has a ton of lounge options that we highly recommend.

10. All-In Live: Miami

If you’re not familiar with All In, it’s a popular podcast with four high profile entrepreneurs. The podcast has changed a lot over the last few years, but they are still able to pull some big names. The guest lineup alone made this worth attending and we saw conversations with Antonio Gracias (founder and CEO of Valor Equity Partners, which has $16 billion in assets), Francis Suarez (the mayor of Miami), Nico Rosberg (former Formula One world champion) and Tony Robbins (who basically needs no introduction). All of these speakers were incredibly engaging, but the surprise appearance by Google co-founder Sergey Brin took it to another level. You can read our full review here.

Final Thoughts

We are incredibly grateful for all of the memorable experiences we’ve been able to have this year, and grateful that we get to share these with you.

And we’re already gearing up for another year of memorable meals, meaningful travel, and new adventures! But 2026 will also mark a shift, we’re starting to get into event planning ourselves, with the goal of creating these kinds of experiences intentionally, rather than just attending them.

More to come. The best experiences are still ahead.
